Sandra Ann Whitehead 61, passed away April 17, 2011. She was born February 17, 1950 in Indianapolis. Sandy retired from the bakery at Kroger after over 20 years of service. She attended Life Tabernacle Church. Sandy enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren’s ballgames. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Mosley, and her father-in-law, Charles Whitehead. Sandy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Steve Whitehead; her children, Todd Whitehead (Monica), Tobey Whitehead (Nettie), and Crystal Whitehead; her loving grandchildren, Tori, Zack, and Cork Whitehead, and Tyler, and Katie Ferguson; her father, Troy Mosley (Nancy); her siblings, Sharon, Michelle, Shawn, Rene, and Shannon; and her mother-in-law, Grace Whitehead. Services will be on Thursday, April 21 at 10:30 AM at Legacy Funeral Center at Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 20 from 4-9 PM, and also 1-hour prior to services on Thursday. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America. A full tribute to Sandy’s life may be viewed online at www.legacyfuneralcenters.com, where condolences may be shared.
