Floyd W. Harber age 70, was called home on Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Floyd was a member of Fraternal Order of Police, and had been a police officer for Indianapolis Police Department for 33 years retiring in 2001. He is survived by his loving wife Sandy, daughters Cindy (Ralph) Elder, Chrisy (Mike) Beeler, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, brothers Milford (Jennifer), Bill (LaVonda), Roy (Brenda) Harber, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Center at Memorial Park. Services will be Monday, April 18, 2011 at 12 noon from the funeral center. Entombment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
