To Dick and all the family,\,
No one had a better friend than I had in Rita. She never changed through the years and she was dearly loved. I am thinking of all of you with sympathy and love.

I am so sorry to hear about Rita. Such a lovely woman. I met her at my DAR. I always said; Hello Cousin, whenever I saw her at the DAR house. We shared Whiteman genealogy. I always teased her we were cousins.
She will be sadly missed at the chapter house.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
May Rita Rest In Peace.

Mrs Rita Lahr was part of my childhood. Elaine and I were good friends growing up in the old neighborhood and I loved her parents. Thanks for all the fun sleepovers we had and all the wonderful memories. May your next adventure be just as wonderful.
